VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Well fall is rapidly approaching, I hope you are getting ready. It seems no matter what I do the season sneaks up on me. Last minute rush is S O P. This season should be interesting. Will those prices from last spring hold? Or will we be talking about the good old days once again? Only time will tell.
Those of you who got renewal notices from The Trapper last month may have noticed that they were being sent to Curt Haberman, that was a mistake. They should still be sent P O Box 115. It seams that with the change in format there were some mistakes. Curt is forwarding the NJTA renewals to me. This happened once before about a year ago. That time things were reversed. At least this time the name of the group was right. That made getting things straight a lot easier.
I still have not figured out whether or not I like the new format of The Trapper. It is harder to read, at least for me. Time will tell. Things like that take some time to get use to. If you tell me what your feelings are I will forward them to the editor.
Remember September is a very busy month. Trapper Ed, the big outdoor expo for two days, at Assinpink, and getting ready for our convention on the 3rd of October. We can always use extra help. If you are available let us know. Even if only for setup and take down. All help is appreciated. That is enough for now. Remember, be safe, have fun, and take a kid with you.
— Jim DeStephano
