It took a National Geographic photographer a year to capture a stunning photograph of a mountain lion in front of the Los Angeles skyline at night. You can see the photo HERE.
Steve Winter photographed the cougar known as P-22 in Griffith Park by setting up an outdoor camera with an infrared beam trigger, according to Imaging Resource. It took 12 months before the animal stepped in the right place to get the photo Winter coveted.
The final image and others will be published in the December issue of National Geographic. Winter has also reportedly photographed P-22 in front of the famous Hollywood sign.
